These photographs came from the estate of Santa Monica freelance photographer George Kyron. This collection is a curated selection documenting local life, theater, advertising, and community events.

 

Very little is known about George Kyron himself. Months of research through historical societies, theater archives, and public records uncovered only fragments of his career. What survived was his photography.

 

This collection is the result of months spent researching, cataloging, and digitizing. Images are shared for archival, educational, and research purposes.
